Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 10, 2026
Gear Plan Go helps you organize a personal collection of tools and related manuals. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Information stored on your device
Tool details you enter or edit, including names, models, notes, dates, locations, and photos, are stored in your browser on your device. Offline PDF manuals you attach are stored on that device. Gear Plan Go does not send this inventory to its owner.
Google Drive backup
If you connect Google Drive, Gear Plan Go uses Google sign-in to back up or restore your inventory and attached offline PDF manuals. Backup files are stored in the private app-data area of your Google Drive account. The app may attempt a backup when it opens if you have already authorized Drive; you can also use the backup controls in the app.
Google handles sign-in. Gear Plan Go does not ask for or receive your Google password. The app uses its Cloudflare Worker service to complete authorization and relay the Drive requests needed for backup and restore. Google account data is used only to provide these features, not for advertising, sale, or unrelated purposes. Gear Plan Go's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Disconnecting or revoking Google access stops future access but does not automatically remove a backup already stored in your Drive account. Removing app data from your device also does not remove a Drive backup.
External links
Gear Plan Go may open external product, accessory, or manual links, including retailer websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices; review their policies when you visit them.
Sharing and tracking
Gear Plan Go does not sell your tool inventory or use it for advertising. The app does not include advertising or analytics trackers. Google, Cloudflare, GitHub Pages, and external sites may process technical information as part of providing their services and protecting their systems under their own policies.
Your choices
- Edit or remove tool records in the app.
- Clear the app's browser storage to remove the local inventory and offline PDFs from that device. Export a backup first if you want to keep a copy.
- Manage or revoke Gear Plan Go's Google access in your Google Account settings. Revoking access does not delete an existing Drive backup.
Children
Gear Plan Go is a general-purpose personal tool organizer and is not designed for children under 13.
